I feel like the majority of people would prefer the Harbinger for its ease of use and better all-roundedness. It's also a little cumbersome to get in and out of due to the ladder, and its flight characteristics while recently improved are still not what you'd expect from a ship of its size. All of this is, of course, in PVE - PVP, last I heard, the Redeemer gets dunked on pretty hard. Then if you grab a gunner or two you can utterly decimate anything out there short of an Idris - be sure to swap the default turret weapons for laser cannons. Solo, its absurd shielding offsets its meager (for its size) pilot weapon loadout so you can absolutely do ERT bounties on your own just because nothing can pose a meaningful threat to you as long as you keep an eye on your shields and hull.

I have never liked the Vanguard series (for whatever reason) and spent a few months in 3.17.2 with the Redeemer as my daily driver. I mean you could load Rattlers in the Harbinger as well, but you get more in the redeemer. Makes for a fun experience and you can dumb fire them at ground targets for extra fun. If you wanna throw missiles, the redeemer has access to quite a few and you can load it up with rattlers. But a lot of people enjoy them too, so probably just skill issue on my part. Also, you can’t swap the torps of the Harbinger for a different type, which sucks cause Scimitar 5 torpedoes are the best and it comes with Stalker Vs. However, in my opinion I haven’t been able to make good use of the Harby’s three torps, probably cause I’m spoiled by the eclipse. If you wanna dogfight and shoot, go for a Harbinger. Solo redeemer gives you some leeway with destroying or disabling some AA systems.įor bounties, it depends, but I mostly lean towards the Harbinger because the Vanguard loadout is so good. Not to say the Harbinger isn’t tanky either, but it can’t handle the turrets quite as well. I also don’t mind it for bunkers and such because it can tank shots from the turrets if need be. In terms of applying to gameplay loops, if I need to be jumping around to lots of places for doing bunkers and being a loot goblin, the redeemer with an XL-1 will take you lots of places. More than 13,400 vehicle and traffic tickets were issued and nearly 200 people were charged with drunken driving by the state police over Memorial Day Weekend. Mostly echoing what other people have said in terms of handling and such.
